Ferrando Jordà & Asociados is a technical office of Average Adjusters based in Barcelona, providing insurance companies with the expertise of a team specialised in transport insurance —maritime, road and air— across the main Spanish cities, with correspondents in several European hubs.
Our firm has been exclusively dedicated to the handling of transport claims since 1990. Francisco J. Ferrando, who leads the practice, manages cases directly —either through personal intervention or by closely supervising the inspections carried out by his collaborators.
We operate from our Barcelona headquarters, controlling potential claims against third parties responsible for the loss through the appropriate notices, in order to facilitate insurers' recoveries.
In order to minimise the amount of the losses, we carry out all necessary actions for the salvage and recovery of the goods, as well as for any potential salvage sale, when applicable.
